What happens to the velocity within the vessel when the radius decreases?

Answer: Flow is related to velocity and the area of the conduit in which it flows. In order to maintain flow, as the tube size increases the velocity must decrease and if the area decreases the velocity must increase to maintain flow and the width of the vessel.
